Fiddle-Sax Fusion Holiday Show ~ Arts Cafe Series

The Fiddle-Sax Fusion Band's Holiday Series came about through a series of videos Brian (saxophone) and Jessie (violin) Stark created as offertory music for their church during remote activities in December 2020. Released weekly, the song selections reflect the meditative anticipation of Advent leading into full-fledged Christmas celebration, with creative interpretations that feature the two lead instruments in inspired dialogue. They performed the pieces in their originally intended liturgical setting live for the first time in December 2023 as part of St. Thomas's seasonal services. In summer 2024, they are recording these arrangements in collaboration with percussionist Mark Shiner for release in December 2024. They are excited to perform this series in its entirety alongside other festive repertoire at the Earlville Opera House!
